Anime FPS games?
| Closest I can think of is Valorant or maybe Overwatch. Then again I don't play FPS much.
FPS gotta be 3D, right? I think it's pretty hard to translate what's usually a 2D animation style to 3D.

Atelier is turn-based so they can get away with some stiff animation. Guilty Gear is, yeah, 2D gameplay, but even then I heard Strive was pretty damn hard to pull off.
You're right, though, it's possible. Action games like Assault Spy still manage.
FPS isn't super popular in Japan though so might be a harder sell.

There used to be this really cool one that was like a phyiscs based COD 4 where you play as a Maid, but it relied on dedicated servers that got shut down T___T

There is the legend of Alfur I.V, which is a singleplayer game, but there was a multiplayer one that's now lost to time that was an online game with loadouts like COD 4.

These are TPS games. Sadly two of them are gacha and the other one is really janky. Anyone try them yet?
| EERIE 2 is FPS, but really needs more time in the oven. The first one is alright.
I also forgot, if you are desperate there is the shitty seed of the dead game. But it's an H-game with rape.

Yep! Japanese exclusive release on DLsite I believe. Even in japan it was pretty unpopular I believe. Just some random indie game.
