I don't remember LISA having any real ad campaigns As a sidenote, Serenity Forge is working on a definitive edition of LISA with a lot of new shit including campfire scenes with your party members. I'll wait and see but I already own the original game.

Paradise Killer is a collectathon platformer with a detective story. it's the best take on vaporwave I've ever seen.
Monolith is a bullet hell roguelite. With the DLC it has an enormous amount of content.

I posted a lot about this game a few months ago but phoenotopia awakening is great game that barely anyone ive seen has been playing. Its basically a Zelda 2 like/metroidvania with 2d sidescrolling gameplay but takes most of it's design style from zelda which makes its puzzles and combat very unique. The music, sound design, and art of PhoA set a really strong atmosphere. Its quite hard and unintuitive for some people but getting over those hurdles is worth it.

Fear and Hunger 1 and Fear and Hunger: Termina. It's kinda like a souls game with brutal, turn based combat and a lot of dark lore. I never heard about it until I watched a video about the game that hates you but the game is surprisingly in depth for being a short game.

Signs of the soujourner. Its a neat little card-vn game where you match symbols on a card with the npcs to try to get a successful dialogue exchange and maybe an item to let you keep your shop running back at home.

>>958954 +1 to Monolith especially if you enjoy shmups/bullet hells, that game is great
Staying with the bullet hell theme I recommend Zero Ranger, an arcadey shmup with a cool transformation ability that turns your ship into an anime protagonist

I see people mentioned crosscode. Good. I recommend Furi or solar ash. Both short fun. Harder ones that I like are Mistover and Othercide. Very fun if you like turn based. Just gonna recommend one more or my faves which is One step from Eden. Its all about gameplay. Fast paced. Very fast paced. Keep gaming g/u/rls.

Madness: Project Nexus is a fast paced beat-em-up with weapon heavy combat. A bit simple in terms of design but the pace of the game hardly lets up and there's an arena mode I've spent hundreds of hours in. If you aren't sure about buying it, Newgrounds has an identically titled game in their portal with more or less the same gameplay. So you can treat that like a demo/proof of concept.

Anyways, another really good game that is indeed obscure is "Manifold Garden". A 3D puzzle game where structure are infinitely repeated. Then I don't know if it can be classified as indie, but "Overlord, Escape From Nazarick" is a solid well crafted metroidvania none are actually talking about.

I don't play obscure indie games unless they are pixel mobile games in order to pass the time. I remember finding one called Fisherman's Horizon which is great and surprisingly free but unfortunately it's exclusive to Android.

>>960695 if you're a fan of rogue likes and dungeon crawlers than wayward souls would probably be great for you. Its pixel mobile game which is free on android and is a top down dungeon explorers with a great gameplay loop plus some great lore if thats interesting for u.

Gato Roboto, is on discount right now on Steam and Nintendo Switch, is like Stray, but instead of being on a abandoned city, you are a Cat with a Mecha suit that has to exterminate all creatures on the planet, basically Cat Samus Aran

It's not too obscure on this board, but The Red Strings Club. Bartending game that will make you stop and think about some serious topics (it's cyberpunk-themed, so you know what to expect). You're on danger/u/, you're probably gonna like it.

Ghostpia is a visual novel about a town of ghosts, everyone disappears in the morning and appears again in the night, nobody has come into that forgotten ghost (literally) town, until a new folk arrives at the train station and everything changes, the first chapter is free on Steam and the first season is already available on Nintendo Switch

The House in Fata Morgana is depressing as hell but one of the best visual novels (if not the best) ever made and I highly recommend it. It got shown in a fucking Sakurai video briefly, so you know it's good.
