Aggressively anti-consumer, very litigious towards fanworks, friend codes, games attached to consoles rather than accounts, generally bad online features, denied joy-con drift was a thing for three years, keeps prices of games high years after launch(BotW is still $60 six years on), Metroid: Other M, Miyamoto stifling potential because it doesn't fit his vision and generally being a fucking prick.

I can live just fine with it.
It feels more like that too many fans are there so it backfired and oversized their public with very specific needs. Thus, it just became the dark side of the audience.

The youtuber that I watch is pretty much a nintendo fan who buys a lot of nintendo products and makes nintendo content; even he finds the joycon drift and 3ds e-shop closing is frustating.

How is bad online functionality and denying hardware malfunction having their shit together? Literally the only thing Nintendo is good at is making games, and even then Miyamoto actively sabotages them if it doesn't fit his view of what a game should be.

| I love Breath of the Wild a lot, but honestly I have too many games on my plate right now. I can't justify getting TotK on launch, not even if it's half its ridiculous launch price.

No, you're speaking subjectively. From an objective perspective Nintendo fails in many metrics, and difficulty of game development does not excuse poor hardware or customer service, which are handled by completely different branches who don't deal with those difficulties. Literally the only thing Nintendo does well is games, and they're not even top dog in that arena.

I never said anything about being competitive on hardware, this is about QA and customer service. The fact that they DON'T have competitive hardware makes the failures worse, and denying them is like telling you customers to go fuck themselves.

It's not, the whole point is that the only thing they do well is make games. Hardware is sub-par and breaks easy, customer service is ass, and execs are assholes.

Because of inflation it can be for Nintendo difficult to beat Switch hype, and personally i'm really curious what will happens. But performance is not that important when developers Don't know how to manage it. Games for PS4 are still releasing. And it's old dinosaur when we will realize date of release.
