games you've played your whole life that you now hate?

| Not quite "my whole life" but Blaseball was a major part of my life for the first year of the pandemic, big enough it feels like a whole life, but now that it's coming back I just don't care about it anymore.
Just gotta move on, you know. Lots of other fishes in the sea.

some games did become old, or i played them so much that i feel that is there no way how i can advance, but i play them because of fomo, or because of mechanics what make me somehow addicted to them, or i have some bad memory what i have connected with them
for example fall guys, mindnight, dark orbit, tribal wars, minecraft, cs:go, metin2, business tour, galcon 2 etc.

| something to keep in mind, tho y'all probably already know this, is that sometimes you need to gatekeep to keep whatever it is you're gatekeeping at a chill level. idk how to word it. i've seen things get more popular and get worse at the same time.
| Bioshock Infinite. I used to replay it every now and then and liked it a lot when I was younger, but nowadays it just feels so, like, off, yk?
I used to not care about/not understand the plot. Just bang bang steampunk funny revolver game. But now that I do, the whole, like, white saviour shit and racism torture porn is just way too in your face and off putting for me to enjoy it anymore. I wish I still could cause it has some good stuff in it, but, nah. It's just so weird now

| >>936112 I was about to answer with MMOs, but thanks for reminding me of VN. VN feels like a slog nowadays, a lot of time wasted with so many routes that I don't care about. Artwise, a lot of gacha games have a better quality art and character design than your average VN.
