Elk birds kept wandering into my fort and attacking my dogs, eventually one killed a dog before my militia was ready, my militia dwarves didn't have time to grab their equipment or something and just ran to the elk bird and started kicking the shit out of it, it was like three pages of the poor thing getting shaken around by the head and it's toes crushed by my dwarves until it finally died

>>933445 it's $30 on steam and definitely worth it otherwise it'll have a free version without the music and graphics releasing soon or you could try it the old release but the menus are more complicated

>>933459 I thought the free version without music and graphics *is* the old release? They're still updating the original game, the $30 version just adds music/graphics.

>>933551 by old I mean the old 0.47 release that's currently available, they will release the 0.50 version which is same as steam just no music or graphics in the future for free, the 0.50 free will have the same menus as steam where as the currently available 0.47 has the classic complicated df menus you need the arcane arts to master
