If you want to remake both of them and add social links like P3-P5, then they probably would need to reconstruct the whole game concept and also redesign the characters to be more anime friendly. That would only piss off the old fans and not guarantee attracting new fans. Resources better spent making new games or porting console exclusive games.
| I don't know what Atlus keep smoking but this rerelease is bloody expensive. They done fucked up the regional pricing on Steam (they did it to SH2 too) and the physical Switch edition is only available as pricey steelbook edition.
At least it's on Game Pass!
