>>887696 Wiki say yes >>887823 Theoretically you can play Cyberpunk 2077 on Vita, just use moonlight on sw modified Vita with hencore or henkaku

>>bd9fa1 true, kinda sucks to deal with the input lag though. my laptop has to use sunshine through the cpu to work

>>887831 i was little bit thinking about to use it.. but at end i throwed out this idea.. But i hope that delay isn't so bad :c It's little funny that i had PSP.. this i gived to younger brother, and replaced by Vita.. And now i little bit thinking about to replace Vita by Steam Deck.. (but Vita i will keep of course), but i will probably end up playing on this more than on Vita xd which is little sad.. it's handheld killer little bit xd

While I'm here, does anyone know how I can get Suikoden 2 on the vita without getting a PS3?
Post number #888034, ID: 4b1e92

>>888031 install gentoo

>>0a9d81 getting stuff legitimately is hard nowadays, u cant even add credit using ur vita to buy stuff, I hear an EU account has suikoden 2 show up just fine on the store. I say sail the high seas, up to you though

>>888111 at this point yeah, but idk how transfering a game to the vita works, and I've never messed with emulators before, so I wanted to avoid dealing with either. Oh well, guess that's my only option.

>>888114 The whole process centers around the SD card, I believe. Haven't loaded homebrew onto my vita yet, but every device with homebrew support and external storage capability uses that option.

>>888114 if you haven't already , hack your vita (vita.hacks.guide is an excellent guide) in terms of emulators tho, u only need adrenaline (runs psp firmware straight up), and pkgj if u are going to "sail the high seas"

adrenaline+pkgj is basically PSP 2 xd really awesome things on Vita ^^

>>889660 if you can get a good deal and enjoy running homebrew yes If your not going to homebrew no because Sony memory is expensive and they already want to shut down the online store so I wouldn't trust it

>>889660 yes but make sure to hack it and use an SD card to pirate all the games. >>890086 Just started playing this a couple days ago and I've been enjoying it as well. I agree that the dialogue is edgy as heck.

>>890479 I was enjoying Freedom Wars until my save became corrupt, then I stopped playing my vita for a while. I also enjoyed the Neptunia Series, Ys, Hatsune Miku, GunGun Pixies (with English patch), and the Senran Kagura games.

So, is the Vita worth it as an emulation console? I was thinking of getting a handheld for emulation purposes, and couldn't choose between a 3DS and a Vita

Always softmod your game consoles before the methods get patched!
It's rare for the game companies to ban you for a hacked console, and those companies don't usually have a useful online system anyway. Yes I'm talking about Nintendo specifically with that...
Piracy always comes last when talking about homebrew. Yeah I pirate games that I wouldn't otherwise buy, but I also have a sick menu theme and can play with others over http://lan-play.com/ without spending money!

For the vita, and most other game consoles, there's 0 downside to installing homebrew. Have it just to have it! It does increase the value of the device, after all.

>>890929 when you'll try to sell it a soyjack will complain about the system not being true to the original.

>>890912 I prefered Vita because i had PSP in past and always had little better visual and "hand-layout".. but they are both comparible.. i would say that it is something as PS4 vs. Switch for example, both are awesome consoles, depends about what games you want to play. Vita was sadly little abandoned by Sony, and 3DS had probably better support.. but i can't tell, i never had DS handheld. For emulation is pretty fine also PSP, but if you want PSP 2, Vita is for you
