Games that can be played with one hand

| I know what you're thinking but I actually mean non porn games. I broke my hand and am on the lookout for something that can be played comfortably with your non dominant hand.

| Most Pokémon games have an option to set L as A so you can play ome handed

And any turn based game is easy enough even without that option

Rhythm games with 4 or 5 button modes are also pretty doable if you use a keyboard, or ones like Muse Dash that only use 2 different button commands

| There's lots of DS games that play entirely with the touchscreen, I'd recommend Ghost Trick in particular. Paradox games are pretty much all mouse based if you forego the shortcuts the keyboard offers. You could also try out a visual novel, and I'll continue yelling about how good Raging Loop is until it gets the acclaim it deserves.

| Pretty sure you can play the Divinity franchise with one hand. XCOM should be in the same boat.

Basically any turn-based games. Drawback is that it requires moving the mouse, which without your dominant hand can be quite uncomfortable.

Aion is surprisingly non-dominant hand friendly as well, with qweasd controls and tab to select enemies etc., problem is that you have to set stuff up at the start with keybindings and stuff like that.

| Aside from the obvious "any mouse-only" and "any turn based game", there are some games that can be played as mouse-only but would be more comfortable with a few hotkeys. The Creeperworld series, especially the older parts are a good example. Frostpunk, Don't Starve, and This War of Mine work pretty well without a keyboard as well

| It takes some effort, but if you can accustom yourself to hotkey-based MMO's keybound to WASD, with Tab-targeting and your QEFRTVZXCG123456 for your hotbar (it sounds like a lot, and this is assuming you're able to use your left hand), you can play quite comfortably through the entire game, and even progression content. I severed tendons in my left hand at the start of WoW's Legion expac, and actually played it all with flipped keybindings, fully right-handed.

| Isometric Hack'n'Slash games can usually be played pretty well on PC with just the mouse, but that becomes less true as you approach games released after 2010 or so, when hotbars became a necessity for using multiple spells. With something like Diablo 2, Titan Quest, or Sacred, you can play them entirely with a mouse with no issue

| Turn-based RPG's are obvious, but also look at strategy games, card games, and the like. Also see if you can find a comfortable keybinding for games that had minimal buttons, like the NES, Master System, Genesis, Gameboy, and maybe even SNES or N64 (depending on how many buttons were actually utilized).

| Oh, and Point'n'click games as well. Monkey Island, Myst, Bladerunner, all good choices.
There's also a lot of oddball games you can play, like Donut County (all that came to mind immediately), where the controls are just so minimal that it doesn't matter what hand you need to use

Muse Dash sounds great, thanks.

Ghost Shift was a gem. Raging Loop sounds promising, I'll give it a closer look.

| I'm not gonna spam and reply to every single post, but thank you g/u/rls for all your recommendations

| Back at school I saw a guy who didn't have an arm and was playing Donkey Kong Country on his GBA SP, that's some achievemnt

| Elona

| >>875342 Reminds me of a relative I knew who could only use one hand, stuck in a wheelchair. We both played Megaman Battle Network, and he *dominated me* in that game. Goes to show that you can accustom most anything with enough practice

| Heroes of Might & Magic 1/2/3

| Disciples 1/2

| I used to play doom and wolfenstein 3D when I broke my arm

| All VN would work, maybe try phoenix wright series if you are bored of just reading.
4x strategy game or colony sim like tropico.
Walking sim/atmospheric game like Abzu.
For RPG, I'd recommend SMT Nocturne over Persona4 because Persona4 has on screen enemy that will rush you, while you can stand all night in Nocturne and you won't get any encounter.
Grid based RPG should also work. If you play Disgaea and like it, your hand might be healed before you are "done" with it.

| Night in the woods, most of the earthbound-esque games(Undertale, omori, etc), turn-based strategies (Civilization), some platformers might be doable

| Any traditional roguelikes. I really like DoomRL.
