Fighting games are fun
| I'm just a casual player. Used to play plenty of SkullGirls before, also a bit of BlazBlue CrossTag and P4AU. Got hundreds of hours in the PSP Dissidia game back in the days, if you count arena fighters.
Never gotten into the 3D fighters like Tekken. The aesthetic just doesn't gel with me.
| I mostly play anime games like melty blood and bbcf but I'll play pretty much anything that isn't a netherrealms game. Always thought they were kinda stiff and clunky.

| I can't get consistent inputs so I get murdered online even in baby ranks no matter the game, the barrier of entry is too high
| I'm mostly into UNIB, Melty Blood, BlazBlue, Guilty Gear, playing Strive as my "main" game now. Even after countless hours put into the genre as a whole and Strive in particular I still suck though. Can't really find a main in Strive either, Anji is really up my alley since XX but it's so hard to get good results with him here. Baiken ended up being kinda underwhelming too.
Played some Brawlhalla as well if you wanna count that, got to platinum with my man Ragnir.

| Used to play a bunch of skullgirls few years ago. I occasionally play tekken 7 online and only use alisa, the only character i sort of know how to use. I dont play much now though, i get too competetive and end up raging everytime i lose when i couldnt be fast enough to react against attacks. Doesnt feel fun. I'd rather play rocket league, because with that game even if i lose i'm still enjoying myself.

I just hope now everything will have rollback.
| Currently only playing Strive, but i will pick up the capcom collection to not have to use fightcade to play Darkstalkers
| Fighting game g/u/rl here!! I regularly play Tekken 7. I used to play Skullgirls casually but now I wanna pick it back up and get better.
I wanna pick up Guilty Geae Strive on PC too.

| I did animation for a mobile fighting game. It's a really difficult genre to make a game for because there are so many things to consider
| Oh yeah, Tekken series is my favorite to play and King of Fighters is my favorite to watch.
| Only those who don't try to mimic Street Fighter or BlazBlue mechanics and design, which sadly 98% of fighting games do, I'd like to play different games, not different skins.

| I've played mostly only street fighter and king of fighters, but I've dabbled in blazblue and guilty gear. Am currently getting into skull girls, but the skill ceiling in that game feels way higher than what I'm used to, so it's been a bit frustrating.

I tried JoJo hftf but the controls didn't stick to me, and any 3D fighting game just feels too slow now. I used to like Smash, but now it just feels wrong.
Them Fighting Herds is also another I love, but that's just Skullgirls My Little Pony edition.
| I'd love to get into more fighting games, but they're always such a huge time sink. Trying to get good is a matter of diligence I can't afford nowadays. Tekken and Guilty Gear is fun.

| Are any of you g/u/rls into fighting games? I am curious to see what fighting games people are interested in here. I am biased towards air dashers with P4AU and Guilty Gear being my favorites but enjoy most types of fighting games anyways.
