>>843472 i think that you can find original Minecraft source code in Roblox, there is original copy inside it which is powering all Roblox, if you would delete this all Roblox worlds will break apart

There is the full source code in this place called "Mojang's office". Only brave ones may retrieve this precious relic, no one has returned..
Except this guy called "notch" but I heard his copy is pretty outdated and full of spaghetti code.

Minecraft's source code is right click > uncompress, as easy as that. Go ask a modding site instead but anyone can access it from the game files, that's why it is so easy to mod and why whenever a snapshot comes out everyone knows every single thing about a feature not even available yet.

>>843844 why does the game still lag on gaming pc from 2013?

>>843886 bruh that's 15 years ago. you know what 15 years is? it's enough time for Mojang to run the game's framerate down to the ground! No really, the game is getting slower with each update since 1.13. get with the times already.

>>844010 that's a shame. I'm a vanilla player so I wouldn't mind if Bedrock became multiplatform..

>>844048 bedrock is good. you can open to lan without vpn/hamachi, kinda like steam p2p. the only problem is I have to make all my friends buy bedrock, which isn't happening. also, the extensive modding are in Java. also2, you are always stuck to the latest minecraft version in bedrock.
so my best bet is to install performance mods, which are actually decent. asking the modders to update when a patch drops is pretty annoying though, for us as well as for them.

I just mentioned mods because I can't live without the graphical mods now. I also play vanilla.

>>844090 I believe with the new launcher they're giving everyone who owns Java the bedrock version? Double check that though

And frames die because Mojang doesn't optimize their code as much as they could, just run sodium and lithium for server, and either phosphor if you want lighting to work exactly as it does in vanilla or starlight if you want fast but not kosher

Optifine is fine but the above usually result in better frames plus they're open source

>>844090 Bedrock has a special feature where you can lock a map's version, some resources packs uses old villagers or don't have netherite and almost all of the featured servers has odd physics and no swimming. Not sure how this feature actually works or turn it on.

About modding, there are official things like the Sonic and Pacman ones which feels like new games, something Java modders usually don't do because they prefer to waste their time "improving what's already done" and throwing shit at Mojang while also asking millions of money if Mojang decides to glare at it.

>>844636>>844647 Is there a popular Java mod that is not just about Minecraft's Survival? The Harry Potter or Zelda adventure modded map might be the few, but adventure maps in Java are as dead as the combat update.
Dream's cheats don't count.
Post number #844879, ID: cf4e20

>>844821 Well yes, adventure maps in Java is dead. I don't know anyone who play adventure maps in Java. Actually, I don't know anyone who play adventure maps. Modding =/= Adventure mode.

>>844821 most people play survival so most mods are for survival or performance
I don't understand why you seem upset over that fact but alright then
Post number #845672, ID: 81a177

>>845487 No I'm not upset I was talking about (official) modding's focus on Bedrock and how it is different to Java's modding and as my first answer wasn't understood I tried to explain it in another way, that's all.

Just play 1.2.5 it is the last version that focused on survival. 1.3 added trading and better dungeons which to some are good addition but to me they kill emptiness of the world
