I'm looking for some games I can bring to a couch co-op group, but they (and I) already have sizable sums of titles at our disposal. I want to find some multiplayer games that are primarily unique and overlooked, from any era. Preferably on console.
My current choice is Dokapon Kingdom. The (somewhat rough) combination of a multiplayer board game and turn-based fantasy rpg will be a fun experience.
What else comes to mind for you g/u/rls?

Not strictly a multiplayer game, but have you considered playing Return of the Obra Dinn together? Assuming no one in your game group has played it before.
It's a really fun experience, discussing the solution to the game's mysteries together as you play. I feel kinda bad for people who didn't play the game the first time with friends.

This was big at the time but I don't know if people still know it today: TowerFall. Twitchy archery combat platformer. Probably the most fun couch multiplayer versus game I've ever played, but the co-op is pretty good too.

Among Us is a masterpiece as a multiplayer game. It has everything a multiplayer game could offer.

Rogue Heroes: Ruins Of Tasos is pretty fun. Is like a mix between Zelda, A Link to the Past and Stardew Valley (for the town building aspect) with a rogue-like twist to dungeons.
