MMO with good OST

| i liked ragnarok online, flyff, generally feeelgood comfy artstyle and music? looking for those from the olden days of MMORPG, about the time of ragnarok online and so

| Minecraft

| >>811087 no that's not

| PSO2

| Elona

| Runescape.

| There are quite a few games made by Mihoyo. They all are very good.

| The original PSO has some great music. Dungeon Fighter Online too.

| SMT:Imagine had some good music, though it was geared towards people who recognized the callbacks from older games in the series.

FFXIV is the hot topic right now, but it does have some unique music for the big raid bosses. Not many games I can think of where the boss changes phase to the tune of some riot grrrl punk rock, or a Powerman 5000 soundalike.

It isn't available anywhere anymore, but Wildstar had a good backing score for the fantasy/sci-fi setting.

| >>811569 Yooo, you play(ed) DFO too?

DFO definitely has some tracks. Seatrain and Pursit lives rent-free in my head.

OG Maplestory (and even some modern Maplestory) tracks are pretty good too, I think.

| Metin2

| Turned off music and any Youtube playlist

| But actually, S4 League

Every veteran of DFO probably has those stuck in their head, Final Pursuit being used for every class promos, and Seatrain because that was the level grind map iirc. Personally, I have the Hell Mode music stuck in my head from farming.

I forgot Hell Mode has music, but then again, when I farm for stuff, I usually have an external playlist going.

| SWTOR is kinda cheating, but it makes excellent use of the Star Wars film OST and the OSTs of previous star wars games.

| RotMG

Played this game too many times on and off for almost a decade. The nostalgia of it's OST will always stick with me.
Long live RotMG!

| Spiral Knights

| Aion has the best OST in my opinion. Shame retail has gone to shit, private servers are the way to go.

| EVE Online's got a great space ambient soundtrack.

| You girls have good taste. Rotmg, spiral knights, and eve online are all great

| Mabinogi and Dungeons and Dragons online

| LOTRO had the best soundtrack but it was made by other players as they followed you around playing an instrument.

| FFXIV has some relaxing music to go with the setpieces.

| So sadly it's really hard to find the split up audio; the format isn't exactly decoded for it but you can find compilations of some of the songs. UCGO (Universal Century Gundam Online) Has a really nice soundtrack that blends well with the overworld. I especially enjoy the non-combat music Sydney has. (Game takes place in Austrailia).
