It is a PC/Android game. It has episodes, with the first one being free and the other two, are needed to be purchased.
I've been looking for it everywhere but to no success. I think the game title starts with an A or an E, and is 5-7 letters long

How long ago did you play this? Was it 3D or 2D?
EvoCreo?

I know I'm not helping, but the drawing looks hella cool even though it's just a simple doodle, ah.. thingie. So cute. Nicely done op! And good luck in your searchings!

>>763793 It was in 2d and no, it's not EvoCreo.
How long ago, maybe 5? 6 years ago? It was a really good game

Could it be one of the Nexomon games? I've been looking around based on your criteria, and while Nexomon doesn't fit perfectly (starts with an N for one thing), it seems close enough that it's possible.

Was it coromon or siralim? Or I actually do remember a rip off game similar to it where a kid gets to get their own pokemon by using their grandpa's flute. After this they get to travel the simple world with the awkward 2d sprites floating and a flat 2d world just existing in the background. The logo of the app was a monkey and they even had extremely similar designs and names to pokemon like a jellyfish named "knidoking" and its preevos "knidoran" and "knidorino"

I only remember the OST sounding electro and maybe slightly ambient. Was it this game? I sadly cannot remember the name of it. But as far as I remember it even had its own website done in a colorful way, with blue borders and the monkey logo in the right corner. The game was also changing between night and day cycles and even had its own championship. As I am aware it even had a sequel. Do these details match your game?

>>763860 It's not from nexomon series, more like an indie game and >>763911 I'm a hundred percent sure it's not Coromon or Siralim, as I've played those before. The pixel art in this game is really good, well-made, and every part of the game is in pixel art, from sprites to background to texts in game. It's on top down style, even on battle sequences.
It has really great gameplay soundtrack too. 8-bit-y but ambient.

Yeah, I've been trying to find it but there's just too many monster catcher games out there. If you have *any* more information, no matter how insignificant you think it is, then please share it and I'll try again.
