Anyone else get bad hand cramps with joycons

| I basically can't play my switch in handheld for more than an hour it sucks

| Does it happens if you are playing with the joy-cons undocked or any other controller?
I would suggest getting some accesory that adds a grip to the joy-cons, but I'm not familiar on this matter on joy-cons (on PS Vita and 3DS I know grips helps a lot, but Idk as Switch is somehow heavier maybe it's different)

| Switch is heavy, so that'a understandable. I never had cramps but also I never play action games longer than an hour anyway.

If you often play on TV/desktop get a pro controller or something similar. There's also some third-party controllers with better grip that can be attached for portable play. The Joy-Con is practicality first comfort later, I'm afraid.

| I do. I can't use them in the little holder things either.
I get hand cramps and shit very easily though. Like, just from using my phone or holding anything for more than a little bit. I've struggled a lot with tendonitis and shit like that for years though. The only way I can play my Switch is with a pro controller in a straight sitting position with something hard and flat to rest my arms on, and even then I can go for at most a couple hours.

| >>743768 It happens whether in handheld, with detached joycons or in the grip. I don't get cramps from the pro controller

| In handheld I kinda do, especially if playing some intense action game (e.g. Astral Chain). With the grip it was fine, but now I use 8BitDo SN30 Pro+ in docked mode anyway, which is just perfect.

| I only do if playing games that make me hold it in particular ways, like rhythm games. The pro controller is way more comfortable either way.

| My joycons broke. I guess they used up all that meteroite nintendium on the 3DS.Nintendo used to be know for having durably and high quality hardware during the 80s-00s. Its even used to be a popular meme.

| >>744461 They did? I mean like in particular? Because I never had any console break on me until the original Xbox 360. My 2 second hand Genesises both work my PS, PS2, PS3, even my original Gameboy.

The Xbox 360 is the only console I've had die on me just from use. Though my little brother did break my original Gameboy SP and DS Lite through blunt force trauma. Both there replacements still work.

Maybe I'm missing context without shit like Atari consoles for comparison.

| >>744461 >>744823 out of all my Nintendo consoles, N64 stopped working, GBA Sp screen broke and battery's gone, had a airplane engine Wii whenever a disc was in, gamecube controller (probably oldest models c-stick broke), original DS touch screen stopped working properly and DS Lite L and R broke... from there I didn't have any problems until Switch's infamous Joy-con, 2 pairs. But Pro controller still works like first day so I have weird luck.

| Not really. I rarely have to suspend the switch and I just rest it on like my lap or a pillow, and it's fine.

| they arent the most comfortable looking things out there
