Bedrock is a pile of shit compared to Java edition for so many reasons (microtransactions, mobile-oriented controls that are just unintuitive on PC, etc.)
But I have to play on it when I want to do cross-platform play with my friends.
Are there any shaders on Bedrock edition that even come close to SEUS or Kudas Shaders?
I'm not sure if I'll even be able to use RTX when it comes out, so I'm not really banking on it.

>>706722 mobile controls is not true at all, while it's true fast managment inventory doesn't have some Java features (I'm sure Bedrock devs don't even know these are a thing), inventory management and movement is just Java, I would say even better if you talk about Swimming as it feels better and more precise on Bedrock (but I think they paritied it so nvm). Plus controller support, sometimes you feel like just chilling. You should revise settings, maybe you are missing something.

As is true there are toggles to focus it towards a more mobile experience, you can just turn it off and play just like Java. Microtransactions are optional, the game is not throwing them to your face, if you never check the marketplace you don't see them at all. Marketplace is a place where people like you works on different things and is a way to support tiny developers (all said most of them are shitty child things but still) crossover skins are really cool and well elaborated.

But as I said, is not mandatory, in PC and Mobile you can just throw your Java skin and change your skin while you are playing, you don't have to exit it. Also there is support for 128x128 pixel skins, double what Java is capable of.
Whats better, you don't have to install anything to enjoy it (like Optifine), game runs 60 fps rendering 40 chunks on an intel i3, while Java starts suffering from rendering +20 chunks on an i7. Shaders don't affect it.

But back to the topic (I'm sorry I just think people bully Bedrock too much for things they haven't research enough for [saw a streamer telling people Bedrock didn't have tridents and everyone was believing him, like wtf, it's known they even have a good drop rate compared to Java]) I think there is a SEUS version too, but maybe it looks different to Java I'm not sure.

I was asking about shaders, but sure, I'll bite: Can't copy-&-paste anything in the chat, x2 tapping space is the only way to leave flight in creative, creative is very glide-y, small modding or mapmaking community, no Forge, custom skins are harder to install, installing non-store bought maps is very annoying, no Linux/Mac/Windows 7/8 support, NBT, bad UI, no official way to set up a server, and microtransactions that aren't forced, but are for things that are 100% free on Java.

>>707313 I agree that chat and command blocks are really annoying but I really didn't know there was another way of leaving creative and I been on Java since 2011 lol. Modding is big, check the marketplace with mods adding literally anything in a native way without breaking the game and being scared of crashed like forge, with native tools anyone can use. People can gain their life thanks to these microtransaction mods. Plus a lot of voxel art and animations impossible in Java

Custom skins is just 5 clicks mid-game (profile > edit > your property > [+] > check your skin and click) Installing non-store maps and resource packs is as annoying as Java is once you know where the folder is. It's crossplatform but there is unnoficial support for Mac and Linux though. NBT is easier for programming. Yeah UI is kind of bad but at least more detailed and newcomer friendlier (both versions are bad, lets say it).

About servers, there is a way of creating a server like in Java except is in beta. But you don't need to if you just want to play with your friends, as they can join your world as long as you are playing without the need of paid IP providers or VPNs or shit like Hamachi. Just the friends feature Java is not able to have.
