| Doraemon and Shin Chan have fuck tons of movies. I'm sure they're still popular. Lupin as well since they just released that hit of a new CG film. Gundams of course. (I mean they literally built a full size Gundam IRL, so Gundam.) Evangelion is also pretty popular, most people at least know about it since it's referenced in a lot of work.

I know KanColle is a popular japanese mobile game but IDK if it's that popular a franchise in Japan specifically (it probably does though).
