What are some franchises that are huge in Japan? I know monster Hunter and dragon quest are pretty big, but what else?

Vocaloid duh. Sanrio has Hello Kitty AND now they're getting Aggretsuko popular. Kamen Rider. I think Power Rangers is also still doing well. I could have sworn LEGO Ninjago is also popular in Japan for some reason?

Doraemon and Shin Chan have fuck tons of movies. I'm sure they're still popular. Lupin as well since they just released that hit of a new CG film. Gundams of course. (I mean they literally built a full size Gundam IRL, so Gundam.) Evangelion is also pretty popular, most people at least know about it since it's referenced in a lot of work.
