How often yall do that? It's often satisfating to get out of your comfort place and check all the stuff you never played before. I heard of the Divinity series recently because of Baldur's Gate III devs being the same people behind Divinity: Original Sins, It's really fun and I'm playing it on Honour Mode. How often does /v/ do this? or you just stick to the games you are used to?

Trting a franchise that doesn't instantly captivate me at first glance often leads to disappointment. I tried neptunia a few years ago after hearing it for a while, can't stand it. Also tried The very first Fire Emblem and the casualized one like FE Awakening, both didn't impress me.

It's fun if it clicks, a chore if not.

It's always a dangerous bet and I always go all in and buy a bundle with the whole series... Needless to say my steam library is bloated with games I never even tried because they're sequels to games I didn't like
