But it's only kinetic ones actually They just don't feel like games, they're like books w8th images, but a lot less text per page forcing me to click/"press a" a lot more times than I'd turn pages in a book Other types that have multiple endings or gimmick minigames are cool though, they add more value, enough to excuse being harder to read than a normal linear book and easier than a book with multiple choices

I hate how they are not elavorated enough, like you choose all the options to be with a girl, she even sleeps with you but then a friend of you have an accident and if you decide to help that person the girl will hate you and Bad Ending, you are alone, like please make some fucking logic and don't go so extreme.

I think visual novel, even the kinetic ones, has more leverage than books (can be more dialogue-heavy, less descriptive. Save/load feature. Controlled pacing with clicking).
But yeah, you definitely should get into one expecting tons of reading. I'm glad you find some that you like, op.
