Favourite Games That No Longer Exist?
| Personal favourites are Paragon (the beautiful looking MOBA from Epic Games), and GITS: Stand Alone Complex - First Assault Online. Neither were particularly "great" games, but they were fun. And Paragon was just nice to look at. Beautiful design.

I'm as much of a Digimon fan as the next guy, but that kind of misses the point I feel. I can still play DW4 on my PS2 or an emulator, I believe op is looking more for things that were shut down or simply dropped by the developers or publishers, like old MMOs.

| It's not shut down or dead but the low player count and lack of actual content updates makes me sad about Spiral Knights. Was a fun, unique and cute game, I'll miss it.

Such a shame about NEOTOKYO, online is just nonexistent.
Also to a lesser extent Gremlins, Inc. It's not dead per se, but it's really tough to find people for at least two more people for a 4-people game with me and my buddy.

I know plenty of folks disliked DW4 because it utterly disregarded the old formulae, but what can I say, I skipped 2 & 3, & playing as a Digimon roaming around on its own prerogative was more in line with the show than anyone who signed up having 3 Digimon at a time & running off to fight the gym leaders.

Knowing that you had stuck with a game till the bitter end, and are among the small remaining group of people who will witness the dying of a game is an experience for sure. Knowing that this is the last hour of a world literally anyone will ever see again, and then seeing that "Server down for maintenance" message pop up. It's something else.
