I've been playing resident evil mercs 3D. I thought it was a tech demo for RE:REV, but The animations are shortened and sped up, so the pace of the game is a lot faster. Here' some cool stuff I've noticed: pistols and knifes are like poking in a fighting game. You can quickly aim at different body parts to hit-stun an enemy, which not only plays into the what I'm going to say below, but can also be used to set up melee special moves.

>>1088108 Was being chased down by chainsaw boi. You want to rush through Enemies, but the devs set it so that they'd grab/attack you. It's a tight rope act where you use the tank controls to strafe around enemy attacks while boi is happily swinging behind you. You can't cheese him by parrying his attacks. Boi's more of a homing missile you strategize around than something you kill. You could, but it wastes time that yeets your score and it gives windows for the goons to grab you.

>>1088109 none of this unique to this game per-say, but it's pretty interesting coming from the more standard 3rd person shoot format of the current games.
