I talked on here about coming to th realisation that I suffer from chronic pain not that long ago, but didn't know what it was. I went to the doctor and he mostly just didn't take me seriously with anything I said and just did a blood test and said "You're fine. It's probably just hormones." So, that was useless. But then I was at home sitting on the floor and tryna think what the problem might be and I realised my lower back wasn't touching the wall I was leaning up against

So, I looked, and, yup. My lower spine is completely fucked. I tried straightening my back and physically couldn't So with that info I ordered a new appointment, but earliest I could get was in a month. The pains just been getting more and more intense recently, and today I ended up in the ER cause I was in actual delirium and idek how to describe the levels of pain I was in Got some higher dose paracetamol and ibuprofen + some opioid, so now I've finally gotten some slight relief

Definitely not a fan of the opioids, I don't like how they make me feel and would be a retarded thing to get a physical addiction to, so I'll be keeping that to an absolute minimum, but I very much did need that So, now I just gotta hold out until the appointment so I can get the diagnosis and get started on physiotherapy (and be put on a better welfare program finally cause they REFUSE to give me shit even though they admit to knowing I'm disabled just cause I don't have papers)

>>992858 Ty g/u/rl <3 While all these painkillers is making my head feel weird it's at least making the pain more bearable, and my girl is the sweetest person in the world and is taking incredible care of me so I'll be aight :3 Try your best to get that back looked at and treated as early as you can though if you have the means! If I was even slightly unstable nowadays this probably would have pushed me over the edge or at a minimum make me a pill addict, and that's not a good time

>>992859 <3 >>992864 Ofc! Glad sharing it could be useful or at least interesting to someone. I'll keep you g/u/rls update whether it's here or a new thread And yeah luckily this kinda thing should be very much fixable! Found out my dad had something similar at some point, and a couple years of physio fixed it up fully. Most bent spine related stuff can be fixed up with the right training, and the types that don't can usually be fixed up with surgery, so it's luckily not permanent

>>993346 I did visit the doctor like a day or two after the original post, I'm not stupid. But the doctor doesn't take my pain seriously and after 30min of finding different ways to say "you're not actually in pain" or "you're overreacting" etc, he just ran a blood test and called it a day I'm glad you haven't experienced stuff like that, but I face discrimination within the healthcare system on a regular basis, so going to the doctor ≠ problem solved. Wish it did

>>993311 I won't lol dw <3 Only taken the opioids once so far and will be avoiding them as much as possible. I've known pill addicts, I've seen how that goes, I'd rather be bed ridden taking only the paracetamol and ibuprofen than push my luck on that
