| uh probably depends on the Cum quality of the batteries/how well it manages the power. If they are like the wiiu pro/switch batties that last for 50+ hours a charge then I'd say it's worth it over easily replaceable ones. Unless they are like the logic tech mousies that last years on a single bat.
really tho I wish every vg controller was like 8bitdo where you could swap aa/oem li-ion bats

I kinda wanna say about replaceable li-ion batteries but having them replaceable is one thing and other thing is actually having replacements available.
My mother used to have a Motorola Moto G5 and it was good enough for all of her needs (calls, Facebook, yt). The og battery swelled and doesn't hold a charge.

Batteries are recycled if they are segregated and not thrown into dumpster fire so these precious materials can be reused. This applies both to the standard alkaline batteries and li-ions. It all comes down to your own handling of them.
We are supposedly reaching a shortage in li-ion or something by 2040's which may affect EV's. I kinda doubt about it affecting consumer batteries since they're manufactured ahead of time

| How nice it is to have wires on your mouse, keyboard, headphones...in other cases (for example, on VR controllers) I use rechargeable batteries. There is a charging station for this. very comfortably.
| Non eneloop NIMH batteries are kinda ass and they're more expensive per cell so normies don't buy them
NIMH is less energy dense and has a much higher self discharge rate than li-ion so it's a trade off of performance for form factor
they're not terrible like that person suggests but people who'd learn enough about rechargeable batteries to know better are probably the minority

The problem is pretty simple; AA and AAA are general purpose batteries that might not be the best for a given application, both in terms of power output and form factor. A battery made for a specific purpose should perform better in both areas, since it can be optimized for that specific purpose.

| I definately prefer rechargeable batter. Regular batter cakes up and isnt soft as rechargeable. You plop a glob of it on the chargine station and it softens the batter to a delicate soufflé consistency that simply cant be beat. heh get it. beat

| I just saw a review for a wireless mouse claiming that it was a shame it used AAs instead of a rechargeable battery and acted like it was objectively worse.
This is crazy to me, in devices like mice and controllers I'd rather just use rechargable AAs. I have an extra set I keep charged and just swap them instantly when my batteries get low. How is that worse than having to plug it in with a cord? Magic mouse user in particular stfu.
How do the g/u/rls feel?
