There's just too much going on under the hood. It seems like if you don't spend your life trying to understand everything, you get lost and end up drowning in a sea of bloated systems, sub-optimal practices and unsecure data. Hold still g/u/rl, get a nerd friends and it's going to be alright.

Nah, my computer is rad. I'm tired of the internet instead. It's not hard to learn to use a computer, just take it slow. Learn things gradually, one thing at a time.

>>969871 This. The internet is largely a distraction. Sadly I often need the information it provides for a lot of things I'd like to do without it. Really shitty catch 22.

Computer literacy isn't something that's really taught, and security best practices are always evolving due to the constantly changing landscape of tech so it's understandable to not feel like you know how to do things responsibility
It's also perfectly fine to use antiquated methods for things simply because you enjoy them, eg typewriters or paper calendars/notes

>>969888 You hit the mark on the head. It's way to easy to get distracted when you have access to the web. I'm guilty of it right now actually.

I'm actually the opposite, I feel like there's so much to do in my computer and in the internet that I wish I didn't have to sleep, shit, pee, nor eat, it's so much fun! At times like this I realize how much shackled by nature and our physical bodies are. But I'm used to it anyways.
