I'm broke af, I went from middle class to struggling to provide for me and my wife, but I'm happy
Ik people who are way better off, but who can't find purpose. Can't find happiness outside of materialistic shit. Have gotten caught up in sudden wealth and blown it all on some shit they overdosed on to cope with the stress it comes with
Unlike them, I now enjoy being alive despite the pain, and I'm staying this way

It's something I wrote because as I've grown I've made these observations, and when I listened to this song again those lines summarised it really well. I have no actual attachment to the guy, probably a horrible person like every other rich cunt, it was just an easy gimmick to use for this thread

| As soon as I started taking opportunities and giving myself a chance in new things my life got more enjoyable. I look back on a lot of weird and crazy stuff I've done and smile. Sure things could be better, but at least everything I have is something I personally fought for.

You'll never have somebody else's life. Your life is exclusive to you, and the best and only one you've got. Coming to terms with that and making it as good as possible, despite all the deeply painful and unfair shit in this world, is how you find true peace, beauty and contentment
