A few years ago, I posted a thread here lamenting how I regret never confessing to an old crush.
Several years later, I love someone who loves me back. She has so much faith in me after the way I gush about her around friends. It's an LDR and I wish we lived closer. But knowing I am worthy of a deep love after building confidence in myself is a fantastic feeling.
I hope where ever you g/u/rls are, you hang in there, grow, and inspire love in others too.

>>961039 You should move in together as soon as possible to see whether you are compatible otherwise you are both wasting your time. Long distance relationships are a meme because partners tend to have an unrealistic image of each other which falls apart when they start living together and then break up. This is supported by many psychological papers on this topic

I should add that moving in together without dating a little irl isn't a good decision either. Couples who move in together too soon tend to delay the inevitable because breaking up with someone who loves with you becomes awkward.

LDRs can be difficult, I say this as someone who has been in a few. I recently went and met a girl I was in a short LDR with and we moved her out of her bad life situation into my irl girlfriends house. I think LDRs can work if you have a plan to be proactive and be with them in real life eventually.
Even still, I believe in love OP! Things will work out for the best with time.

Congrats OP. Even if this relationship ends poorly I hope you remember the lesson that you are worth of a deep love after all.
Maybe not all us g/u/rls are, but you are.
