| It's impossible. Normal people don't need to go out of their way to "learn" how to talk to people. If you are over the age of 20 and completely unable to socialize just forget about it.

first of all if retarded enough talk with people on discord
talk a lot
then vc and the likes, ignore ur feelings on not fitting in.
then when u are brave enough start talking to people at sports or the groceries and the likes
take note how to see id someone is willing to carry on a conversation,
concerts are a good place cuz you have something to talk about.
or talk about politics , people always have opinions.
then when you are ready, get peoples contact info.

do not talk about politics. Everyone's opinionated and left or right leaning they'll have a "holier than thou" attitude if they actually care about politics
| Just play games with them. Video games, board games, tabletop roleplaying, whatever. It's a shared topic to talk about, and good distraction if talking gets awkward.
| OP here, I have a friend grown up in an abusive household and that part of her life dragged her back to advance, I was in a similar situation, but I have no clue on how to bring this up to her in a lighter way.
