If you don't like something only because its author did/said something bad, then I assume you're a bad person.
Imagine a bad person did something good. Does that make the good action worse? No. If you believe that it is worse then you're a bad person. As simple as that. You probably don't return the shopping cart thingy either.

You shouldn't return the cart. Companies want you to return it so they can employ less people and continue to run on skeleton crews. You should leave it out, so they have to employ more people. It's good for the economy.

Until then it depends on what they're doing if they are quiet not spreading hate even if they were disgraced for that it's probably fine to support them
If they're loud about how they want to take people's rights away on Twitter don't support them because they'll just turn your money into hate by donating it to hateful orgs
If you're okay with that go for it but yes I think it makes you a bad person or at least weak morally
