If you have the spare change to get in, VRChat has a thriving mute community if you just wanna be on the sidelines and chip in through a pen or keyboard when a shared interest enters the conversation or something. It helped me break out of my shell, and it might help you.
That or FFXIV, that game is as much a social platform as it is an mmorpg at this point, and I've had plenty of fun hanging with people on there.

| Only real way to make IRL friends as an adult is through shared interests. Whether your thing is model rocketry, oil painting, fencing, whatever, there’s probably other people with similar interests. If you can spare the time and expenses finding a group that does that thing is worth it.

Second life i tried once but i was see it boring.. i was enjoying Club Cooee or Minecraft Classics around 2012 or earlier.. but idk.. and about VRChat i feel as impostor as i have no VR headset and my voice is cringe..
FFXIV sounds as interesting idea.. just subscription sounds little expensive for me xd but i will think about it at least.. i feel that i could make fall guys and soulworker year-2 back.. but idk if are both
