| Me personally I would want to prevent 9/11 cliche as that is, warn people of the negative side of the internet that evolves over the years, mention the 2008 recession along with the rise of political demagogues and how the net has reshaped the spread of extreme propaganda.
Also want to see if it would be possible to cripple the rise of big tech.

I'd warn people about certain events like 9/11, COVID-19, natural disasters etc but I don't know how to do this convincingly. If I can convince people I have knowledge from the future I'll highlight the now occuring results of climate change and excessive corporate greed.

| Thought experiment.
You have a time machine and are going back to the year 2000 or y2K. What would you warn humanity about or try to change going back? You could go on a forum, give a detailed run down of the future or try to outright stop certain events?
