I absolutely detest people who ship members of korean idol groups together

People who make people gay without their consent or knowledge are not people to me.
Boy groups or girl groups, it doesn't matter. If you ship two of them together, that's wrong
Don't get me wrong. I'm not against the gay association. I don't mind if they actually do have relationships, but if it's only implied, it is not true, and therefore, wrong.
Taking their words and actions out of context to mean anything that'll fit into the narrative that they want is just disgusting

few examples of what I'm talking about is the people who ship members of the korean boy group BTS together. Or the korean girl group ITZY.
You see all of this on twitter. They treat Kim Taehyung and Park Jimin as an actual couple. Or Yeji and Ryujin as lesbians.
It's just disgusting.

As long as they just do it in their own space without acting like it's true in public, I'm fine with whatever people want to think.
They do get a bit too loud about it sometimes, huh

It doesn't stop with idol group. It also happens in anime sphere. The only thing I dislike about it is that it doesn't work the other way around.
Like it is okay to declare a straight character as gay, but when LGBT character is declared as straight, it is suddenly a no no. You can turn a white/pale skinned character into tan. But when dark/tan skinned character is drawn with pale skin, it is suddenly racist.

>>79c690 think there's a bit more nuance here. Those communities don't get good characters most of the time so I'd understand some people being mad if you changed attributes they identified with. And these can be the same people that dislike it when white characters are made tan and straights are made gay.
Get fucked retard you can watch tracer in 120fps in 4k get rammed by black dik. Who the fuck are you having conv with where this matters we all know it's just for nut beating.

>>889674>>889674 This! I'm okay with it if it's their "headcanon" or whatever the hell they call it. But treating it like its a fact, and then getting angry and going into lengths about it when you tell them how it's not true is what's bothering me.
This also happens not just in Korean groups too. People are kind of pushing that Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson are into something... (1/)

Now I haven't been a fan of One Direction, nor do I know who its members are, but it goes too show how loud these degenerates are about what they think is what's happening between these two males.
I don't care if they're straight or gay, but unless they stated it, maybe lay low on the fucking shipping, good god.

>>889676 I'm alright with anime. They are not real people.
Although, people shipping Deku with Bakugo, and then pointing facts in the manga that makes the vaguest, most superficial proof that they have something between them is really annoying.
If they think Deku is gay, sure, okay, man. But if they get mad that other people think it's not true, that's just plain fucking stupidity

I guess if was some big eceleb,I wouldn't really care? They are fetishizing the persona, not the person behind it. I think it's more of an issue of not setting boundaries between you and your fanbase. IE. Look at the whole Mafumafu/Rushia drama.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SH_QWrdhR68

>>889884 lol, okay, sure. But it's not just in twitter anymore. The filth seeps into other websites and it makes some discussions stupid.
>>889819 I agree with your sentiment and I guess I can tolerate that kind of stuff. My only problem is when real people are shipped together. I find already find it problematic when two heterosexual people are shipped together without their knowledge

So shipping two people of the same gender and making them homosexuals is just really disgusting to me.
unless they are real gay people, and they do have relationship, then it's okay to me

>>889940 >the filth seeps into other websites have you considered that you're being the seepage right now? I literally haven't heard shipping arguments since Homestuck was popular eight years ago thanks for the nostalgia though lol. there's probably not even one person on this website that would post about shipping kpop boys.
