I'm addicted to hugging my pillow in bed. I pretend like I'm hugging a hot mommy gf, she tells me everything is going to be okay and alright. I've been doing this for months now and I literally cannot stop. I go to sleep early just for this. Is this bad for my physical/mental health? Should I try to avoid doing this?

It's fine as long as you wash that pillow. And mame sure you use a mild cleaning solution. You want the fabric to last long, because it sounds like if that pillow is ruined you're going to kill yourself

>>63c703 I don't do sexual stuff to the pillow, and i keep myself clean to feel more feminine usually so it's all good i think

my therapist says imaginary relationships and relationships with objects usually help, actually. I guess talking to a fake person is better than talking to yourself.

Whatever helps you maintain your mental health, g/u/rl. I got myself a large plush toy (not the meme shark) just for that purpose, and you've no idea how much that shit helps. Godspeed.

I don't know where op is but where I live, most people sleep with one pillow under their head and one pillow to hug. Highly recommended tbh.

>>59aa58 I sleep with three pillows currently. One I hug, the other is at my back keeping my back warm and the last one is under my head. Also where do you live? Sounds like a nice place.

Getting comfy sleep takes priority over anything imo. If people cuss you out because of it, you don't need to give a singular shit about them or anything they have to say. You do you, g/u/rl
