I caught covid

| I've got a 103 fever and a bad headache, and the fever's still going up. God I feel shitty. Do you think I should go hospital?

| I think Pomu is good girl

| 103 is deadly. If you haven't already gone to the hospital, you should immediately.

| See a doctor & get well soon

| RIP OP

| and prayed to Pfizer for relief

| Congrat

| OP...

| Please seek medical attention!! I will be anxiously awaiting your response from when you get discharged from the hospital. Take great care of yourself, OP.

| I didn't go to the hospital. I called the ER and they said come in if my blood oxygen goes down or if I hit 104. I'm only even able to post rn though because taking double the recommended OTC ibuprofen dose, I have to sleep with a wet towel on my head any time I'm not drugged up. Apparently, 103 is common for the current variant, and the best thing to do is to try to keep yourself cool even when your shivery.

| Other than that, though, my only symptoms are a sore upper throat, slight cough, and runny nose so I'm actually doing pretty well. Hoping to feel a little better tomorrow.

| New lockdown in Autumn

| You were vaccinated weren't you?

Hope you feel better. 103 is an obscenely high temp for a fever.

| I mostly recovered by now. still coughing but the fever is gone. however I now get to experience the absolute stupidest illness syndrome ever, hypersalivation. it's so fucking annoying, especially cause swallowing makes me cough sometimes. I'd almost rather have the fever!

yes, I had the pfizer vaccine. I didn't get a booster shot.

| Glad to hear it. It's probably a good idea to get the next booster sometime in the future though.

Had it last month. My fever peaked at 102.5, and after it broke the headache went away and the fever would pick back up every day, but each day maxed lower.

I had better luck with acetaminophen than ibuprofen, your results may vary.

I got a cough after the fever went, even though it's been WEEKS I still have a slight tickle in the bottom of my throat. no other symptoms tho. Honestly the worst part of the experience was how long it lasted.
