Balcony Room

| Planning to use my familys apartment balcony as a room for myself since I bunk with my NEET brother and can't stand it anymore (can't get a wink of sleep). I'm sure I'm able to fit my essentials like maybe a hammock, computer, desk, drawers, etc. But I'm not so sure how to go about the walls, flooring, and the railing/outside part. Any suggestions?

| Just get a sugar daddy. You don't have to live with him or anything. Just be cute and throw a fuck his way every once in a while. In return, he'll throw you big rent money along with all the other expensive gifts that you can either keep or pawn off. Roping him in for tuition would be a good idea too.

| Could you provide pictures of the balcony, alternatively describe what the current situation is (floor, railing height and composition, size)?

Can't quite help you if we're working in a vacuum.

| >>870929 they're some cheap popcorn walls and hard cement like flooring, the balcony is pretty long and somewhat wide enough for a small bed. The railings part stick out from the actual balcony so it's exposed without a ceiling.
I was thinking more on what kind of decor do I need to implement I. E type of wallpaper and flooring/carpet, and to go about the railing bit.

| I'm not able to get a picture rn, possibly tomorrow. There's a lot of junk I also need to clean as well.
Also the balcony is connected to another bedroom so I might need to replace the screen doors with some other type?

The ceiling is going to be fairly crucial if you are to keep your furnishings in order.
I suggest going steel with polyurethane. One 120x120x3 mm square pipe affixed to the wall lengthwise with adhesive anchors drilled a meter apart, to this affix 80x120x3 mm a meter apart angled down 3-5 degrees with polyurethane sheets between, finalize with another 80x120x3 and add run a set of 80x120x3s to the existing railing. 1/2

| 2/2 Overhang ~50 cm.
Use screws, the material will be too thin to weld without great annoyances.
You can also fit polyurethane between the vertical pipes to enclose the entire structure, but this complicates the project (you need to consider ventilation more properly).
The cross-sections I've given are a bit overkill but that's the best a random person on the internet can do for you. If you can shoot me those pictures & measurements I'll be able to be more thorough.
xoxo
