Do 5mins of any cardio before hand (low intensity).
This is literally your opportunity to touch grass. Do planks in the grass. Dirt works too.

>>860430 Dirt is not optimal, but I agree, it'll do. Find yourself a meadow to plank in!

>>860430 i specifically selected that as a short exercise i could do at home with mininum preparation, esp before my 12hour work shift if i wanted to spend more time on preparation (like dressing or searching for a quitable place outside), be cold and do extra launrdy from city dirt (+anxiety by exercising in public), I would've just gone running maybe I'll go to a nearby park on weekends to work out when it's warmer and I'm a wee bit stronger, but not now, sorry

cover rug with blankie i stretch regularly, and before i bought a yoga mat i used to put a spare blanket on top of a rug to deal with this specific issue, and it worked well enough for me at least preferrably you'd want one that's soft, not too thin, and that you don't mind getting a bit dirty since it's gonna be on the floor a lot (so ideally not used very often, or easy to wash) results may vary but it might be worth a shot if you have a blanket you don't use laying around

>>860958 thanks! i started using my jeans jacket for a bit but maybe a more..suitable piece of fabric would serve better honestly, at this point the most important thing left is to stretch properly and also clean out the carpet more often, finding shed hair on a blanket would suck

>>861003 Buy a poncho liner. It's super soft, easy to clean, and is the perfect blanket.

Aren't yoga mats like 15-20 dollars? I'd say it's worth getting one. If that is a lot, use that to spite yourself into training more.

Just place two wooden blocks in a crafting table
