I live in [redacted great lakes city], have my whole life, and im very well conditioned for extreme subzero snowy winters, but the summer has hit hard and fast and every year im reminded how ill prepared i am. So this is asking for advice from a hot climate g/u/rl
Say i have a small window ac for a fair sized room, and when i enter the room, one side is nice and cool, and the other is still v hot , should i pop the window and let the fan vent that side or let the ac do its thing?

my strategy for hot summers has always been "languish miserably in the coldest part of the house and hope it's cool enough tomorrow to turn the computer back on." ahh, summer...

the only good solution for hot climate is just roaming around your house naked (or just with underwear). and constantly complaining for how hot it is

Open two windows in two different rooms and cause a wind. AC is too expensive.

>>859364 Put up curtains to block sunlight, keep door to room closed. If you open the window you'll just make things worse.
