Though they serve other purposes as well.Like having well thought out reasons and codes of conduct to not go around murdering,raping,and pillaging agreed upon collectively.Do have nice benefits like not getting murdered,pillaged,and raped by random people and if they violate these rules.Then they are punished. Though /d/ might disagree on the getting raped as a negative.( • ̀ω•́ )
