I must pass on this cursed knowledge to you

| annoying orange was the first vtuber

| I feel assaulted

| Vtubers are shit, so I am not surprised

| This roused a visceral, long-buried memory in me, what have you done op

| >>853312 glad I could help

| Annoying orange was NOT the first vtuber. It was actually those eggs, laid by the same creator.

Daneboe also has some pretty neat content that is looked over nowadays. Annoying orange destroyed his style. Remember his hack videos? The lighter hack actually works irl in the beginning!

| >>853379 but.. annoying orange has its own channel

| Jokes on you, apparently Nintendo created a 3D Mario that moved and spoke in realtime alongside the voice actor for a gaming convention back in the 1990's.

Meaning not only was he the "first vtuber," but the first vtuber was a 3DTuber.

| >>853415 not only was he the first vtuber, he was in fact, NOT, because youtube didn't exist in 1990.

check and mate, Reggie

| >>853422 there was no tube, he was just the v. (´u _ u`)

| All of you are terribly wrong. Max Headroom was actually the world's first vtuber. Virtual + Tuber. He was indeed virtual and was literally broadcast to Cathode-ray tube televisions! TUBE like TUBER! Hellooo?! Put some respect on his name!!

According to OP's statement - yes.

| The force required to tear apart a human scrotum is the same as is required to open a bag of chips.

Annoying orange is inexplicably tied to cookie clickers, dantdm, happy wheels, and that bread simulator game because youtube wired my malluable fucking pudding brain at such a young age that these thoughts have rooted so deep they might count as core memories. Kind of funny how the YouTube algorithm may have shaped the shared human subconscious of an entire generation.

This.
Though the kids might think it's the quiznos sub commercial creatures.
