That ADHD urge to use parenthesis in every sentence (because every thought comes with additional bonus content)

| Everyone else talks so slowly and I already know half the stuff they're going to say before they say it, but they also won't let me finish my exhaustively-detailed account of a thing that happened. Always feel real good thinking about that.

| That feeling when someone says 'cool' in the middle of your exposition, so you change the subject and your heart sinks even more when they immediately zone back in.

| My lil cousin is like this. Love that lil goober, but sometimes I wanna shake him by the shoulders and tell him to get to the goddamn point.

| I like to use parenthesis when I write a comment here and on the internet (sometimes) but only when I really want to explain my point

| Why would you call me out like this? My thoughts are more meandering than most rivers. (The unregulated ones, that is.)

| I hate this thread (delete this)

| I got social anxiety on top of the ADHD so my brain won't shut up but my mouth is just 90% parentheses....

| Hi reddit.

And imgur

And probably ifunny

And every other internet clout website

Here's your (you)

| (Internet moment)

| >>852423 the same thing happened to me as a kid, but at some point in my life i became the polar opposite of that and now I'm the one who talks and even thinks extremely slowly, assuming i have the attention span to actually think without getting distracted (i don't have adhd btw)

| Average (as in unworthy pleb) parenthesis fan versus chad em-dash — or doubble hyphen as that is easier to type — enjoyer

| >>852656 I think I used all the em dashes I could ever have in one lifetime in my lit classes

| >>852656 based - and very sexually attractive - anon

The em-dash isn't very ADHD.
