privacy focused targeted advertising

| It is pretty clear targeted advertising won't go away any time soon. Would it be possible to have targeted advertising while protecting a person's privacy?
Personally I don't really think so, as you still have to have a centralized entity to control that data, but if I gotta live in a future where government's won't ban mass data collection I at least want to be able to choose the lesser evil lol

| Apparently Mozilla is trying something out with Meta right now. Not sure where that's going.

| Govt has the power to regulate it but if politicians are bought off then they won't. Make data collection Opt-in rather than opt-out
