Years, years ago, this was an ARG that you followed through dozens of different websites, until the final ending you had to reach by asking for a postcard to be mailed to you. I lost mine god knows how many years ago, but it was such a trip at the time to follow.
Now it's a video game called "Blue Lacuna," iirc.

Mr.Freeman, a series dating back to the early days of the internet. Original made in Russian, is very cryptic in nature but is very well animated and even if I don't understand anything at all, it is still enjoyable.
