>>851003 It's not. For you see you're bound to be someone's slave or just pay a lot for hosting and domain. No fun at all. Neocities is really stupid as it can't even redirect to index.html properly. >>850999 I had no real idea to be honest. I'll probably do an offline website which will have my own threads saved (ahahahahaha) >>850986>>850997 I honestly hate Vtubers. A lot of ironical weebs they have brought in. It's disgusting. ~P

>>851275 I mean, so can any other person around. If anything the popularity of vtubers (not to mention the whole show business aspect) means that you aren't likely to have insightful conversations with them. They aren't replying to you, at best they're replying to the faceless words you wrote. Admittedly, that's hardly a thing exclusive to vtubers, but it's prevalent enough in the trend to be considered.

>>851063 Heroku is good for hosting small-scale websites (free up to a certain amount of traffic) and you can hook it up to GitHub to automatically deploy when changes are committed.
Another alternative would be Firebase. This comes with the added bonus of simple backend management and you can easily arrange your login system to use Google authentication.

>>851323 Let me reiterate.
You can talk. to. Anime girls.
You seem to focus on the "talk" part for some reason, so let me put an emphasis for you.
You can talk to ANIME GIRLS.
In case you forgot, let me remind you: - You CAN'T talk to anime girls - Anime girls CAN'T know you exist AT ALL - People already worship anime girls like a God - Christians would literally die to meet God
Now try putting two and two together.

Why do all Vtubers look like children? Loli culture is genuinely alarming, Ik it’s normal for Japan since they promote fucking kids for population, but it’s spread to the US is unnecessary and wrong.

>>851382 > Anime art style 101 is draw adult with a child face since the dawn of time. > People scapegoating pedophilia because they can't understand weeb culture is nothing new and has nothing to do with vtubers. > The US isn't the only country that embraced weeb culture. > "Vtubers" already existed in the US before Hololive exported it, look up xyaro, ironmouse, projekt melody > Japan isn't responsible for whatever the fuck americans choose to like.
Lurk more.

>>851328 they're not anime girls. They're real people behind anime avatar that's animated.
Post number #851421, ID: 439221

>>851328 The one thing that meaningfully distinguishes anime girls from real individuals is the lack of agency, due to them being fictional. So I can't say I get it. >>851400 Yeah, and I mean anime avatars have existed online for decades now. So you know? Surely the simple fact it's animated isn't why people are crazy over them...?
>>851382 Anime as a style is based on exaggeration of attractive features. Hair, eyes (i.e. emotions), proportions, and, in this case, neoteny. Is all.

>>851325 This post is so appalling I find myself too distracted to join the VTuber-posting. Handing Heroku or Firebase to someone looking to make 90s-esque websites is like consigning them to the Shadow Realm.

>>851421 Do you look at anime girls and think "man I sure love this lack of agency"?
No, you probably just want to watch anime.
There is a difference between wanting to watch anime and liking anime character.

Liking an "anime" character include: - Gambling to obtain your favorite PNG (yes, "anime" girl doesn't have to come from anime. A lot of anime do have tie-in mobile game though, or collab with a mobile game) - Buying statues to display, touch, or cover in bodily fluid - Sleeping with a pillow depicting anime girl - Simply liking fanmade artworks like a financially healthy individual
You don't need to do any of these or watch vtubers and keep watching anime instead.
