I wake up after ten hours, or however long I slept. I'm just as tired as I was when I went to bed. I try to work, but the exhaustion prevents me from accomplishing as much as I would like. After work, I force myself to cook and clean just enough to keep my flat from becoming a pigsty. But that's all I've got. I spend the rest of the day sitting like a potato in one spot. Then it's time to sleep and try again the next day.

It helps if I drink enough coffee to make myself shiver. It helps if I use drugs. (Before you ask, I did not use drugs before fatigue became a major issue.) So it's not as if my body is incapable of mobilizing energy. It simply does not want to, and I have no idea why or what I can do about it. I wanted to vent, I suppose.

It may sound stupid, but you should sleep less hours. Sleeping for too long makes you feel as tired as sleeping for 4 or 5 hours.
Also, try doing some light exercise, play games, go for a walk... anything that keeps you occupied, both mentally and phisically if possible.

Eat at regular intervals, don't forget to hydrate, and don't sleep for more than 8 hours.
Squandering even one of these practices for a prolonged period of time will leave you fatigued.

I felt similarly lethargic until my doc ran some tests and found out I had a folate deficiency. Well, not that I wasn't getting enough through diet, but that I had a mutation for poor folate absorption. She gave me a rx for supplements and now I'm good as new. Hopefully it's something that simple in your case. Don't be afraid to go to the clinic for this.

to many things, to know the issue, try first checking your food, maybe so much of something or missing something, (sugar, fat, vitamins, etc.) or maybe you are getting bad food, (some brands sells terrible food, even if it is "healthy")I used to bought sausages form commercial brands, and got issues in my health, until I try ed sausages from my local Butcher, it is more fresh, and now every meat i go to the butcher.

Agree with the rest here, remember a video where someone had chronic fatigue and drank some monster which had vitimain k that they were deficient in and they had way more energy. They took supplement instead but it worked for them.
Try fuckin with your diet.

i've felt the same way for a month now. i literally cannot get out of bed and i sleep for over half the day. it's not that i'm sleeping too much which is making me tired. i wake up after a normal amount of sleep and am so utterly exhausted i just need more sleep. i miss my classes because of it and its so infuriating.
but my troubles aside, i hope things go positively for you OP. and to the others who gave ideas, idk i'll try them out. it's just hard to get motivation to do things

>>850490 Do you have low blood pressure?

Some people that struggle with daytime tiredness may have sleep apnea.
If you regularly wake up with a headache, wake up gasping for air, have a dry mouth when you wake up, snore loudly, feeling tired no matter how long you sleep or any similar symptoms, it's definitely worth checking with a doctor.

OP you did good just being able to wake up, clean and feed yourself. I think acknowledging those positives first can help

>>850642 might be worth a shot. luckily im not as tired today. but its only the tiredness for me, not any other symptoms.

>>850670 Sorry to hear that. Try to stay active to lower your blood pressure! Personally I got diagnosed with high blood pressure but it turned out to be an infection (infections raises your blood pressure) so it went back to normal levels after treating said infection.

Both low and high blood pressure tend you cause fatigue, but lower blood pressure makes you want to sleep in afaik.

>>850742 tbf it was only high by a very small amount, like 125/83. but i was recently sick with an infection so that could be the source of my recent constant tiredness. that and burnout lol.
