Do not be a culture vulture Lurking 'round the old sepulchres! Feasting on the grim and grim and grave, For starved attention which to stave. Find that thing for which to capture And follow to inspire rapture!

>>844684 Nice poem.
>>844075 I disagree with this whole concept. If you find part of another culture interesting or worthwhile, there is NOTHING wrong with pursuing it or adding it to your life.
"Cultural appropriation" is just something tumblr made up so they could feel better about not being interesting.

For instance, I would love it if more people chose to learn Comanche. I'm terrible at it myself, and my dad still lives on the rez.

Speaking tumblr how is the site now? Wasnt theyre a porn purge and ppl have left, including the toxic tumblrs that may have spread to twitter, or has twitter always been toxic

>>845163 twitter was always toxic but it definitely got worse when tumblr ended. but it might have been coincidental timing, not causation. regarding tumblr, I haven't heard much about it recently at all. everybody I know who used it has abandoned it by now.

i went on tumblr to see what it's like just the other day and it's basically a dead site. yahoo buying tumblr caused a lot of upset and ppl to leave but the porn purge was the final nail in the coffin. the death of the website just left a bunch of underage tenderqueers to find another place to rehash old tumblr discourse
