why do people eat 3 meals a day?

| That's way too many calories. No wonder much of the western world is overweight.

| >>842003 is 60 kg overweight?

| >>842004 if you're a 140cm chink then yes

| >>842005 +35~40 xd

| As you alluded to, it depends on calories per meal and individual needs. Like, my sister eats 3 to better regulate her blood sugar. Healthy weight. My cousin eats like 6, because he trains like a maniac. Technically overweight, but low bodyfat. Me, I eat 1-2 because my medication supresses appetite and I have to force myself to eat. Underweight.

It's all calorie in - calorie out at the end of the day. Meal count is not so relevant if we're only considering bodyweight.

| I'm a Hobbit, I eat 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners because of my culture and traditions.
And because I want to.

| I recall hearing smaller meals more often promotes a faster metabolism, but have no idea how true it is.

| because there is only lunch break. if possible, I would like a brunch break and an afternoon snack break please

| Gror

| Personally mine is all over the place. I shove something down my gullet in the morning and that is occasionally. Then usually I have a large dinner. I am still an overweight westerner. It's our food man. I could go into detail about how it is quite literally designed to be addictive, and fattening. Though I don't want to post 20+ replys.

| Is cornflakes a meal?

| >>842553
sure

| >>842566 thank you

| If I was promised a meal at a resturant and she bought me a bowl of cornflakes I would get rightfully peeved.

| if you eat three large meals, then it's too many calories. if you eat three small meals it's not. pretty simple
