Are femboys same thing as trans?
| its kind of a subject of debate. most people who call themselves femboys don't call themselves trans, and most people who are trans don't call themselves femboys. but also, a lot of trans people will tag themselves or be tagged as femboys in porn. also also, a couple months ago some tiktok kids tried to make a big deal about the word "femboy" being an anti trans and everybody should stop using it like "trap" but that was retarded and nobody really bought it.

| Femboy is kind of a porn thing. All self proclaimed femboy I know are boys who dress up as girls and show their dick and ass hole. Sometimes my friend would call himself a femboy, but we're both horny and gay anyway. It's kinda like "twink", no one ever call someone a twink without hinting they would fuck the 18-21 yo young man in question. Like no one tells their employer "I'm a femboy" but it's perfectly fine to say "I'm a trans woman" in any context (kind of).

They're just men who feel or act in ways that are stereotypically "feminine." Could be liking stuffed animals, certain colors, preferring slimness as opposed to muscular bodies, etc. Many like wearing women's clothes and yet when you ask what they identify as or whom they're interested in sexually, it will be "a man, and women" respectfully.
That's all it is really, speaking as someone who now self identifies as a femboy. I have no gender dysphoria to speak of and never have.
| Keep in mind, years ago such gender stereotypes were a lot stronger. I'm not sure if as many people care nowadays whether a guy likes cute animals or dresses in tight jeans as they used to. As an example, at one point women wearing anything other than dresses and skirts (like jeans etc) were considered tomboyish or mannish, but nowadays this is fairly normal- even considered a part of their sex appeal.
A lot of this junk is fairly arbitrary on the whole.

| No. Femboy means, as the term suggests, feminine boy.
There's often some confusion around it due to the porn industry labeling trans women as femboys, but the porn industry is inherently exploitative and even use slurs in titles, so don't take anything from there as proper use of terms.
Also, I recommend not saying transsexual. It's an inaccurate, outdated term and isn't a real thing. Transgender is the word for what you're talking about.

There's nothing wrong with the term itself, but some people call trans girls that which is, well, inaccurate and degrading.
So, there's nothing wrong with the term, but some people use it on people it doesn't apply to to be transphobic, which is retarded.

| I would say there's a definitive difference. While there can be crossover between femboys and trans, they're not the same thing. Femboys are simply feminine men who make it known they're men, while transsexuals are men/women who identify and transition to the opposite sex. You can have a woman transition to a man but act feminine, thus you could say they're a femboy. There's a lot of debate though.
