Can’t speak for other Americans, but I think it’s a country of decent people with a shit government like anywhere else. All the Filipinos I’ve met have been good people, I had an older female coworker who retired back in July and she was very sweet and even hosted some of us for lunch. Best friend from college is Filipino and I still see him when I can.

| Philipino cuisine is the absolute bomb! I once had the most delicious soup in a Philipino resturant and six years later I still haven't gotten over how good it tasted. I've been trying to find it ever since but it's nigh impossible because I don't even know the ingredients. I think it could've been something seasonal or local to that resturant because it didn't even have a name on the menu (they simply called it soup number 5).
