Unrequitedness sucks, if you want to forget about her I really hope you can. Let me stress that context aside, you don't have to though. It's perfectly fine to love someone who's taken, and if you're friends it makes the friendship all the more special.

Actually, I don't know if I have loved her but she was my crush like 3 or 4 years ago? I liked her then but I don't know why I'm still thinking of her now even though we haven't talked for a looong time.
