If I enter an elevator, and that elevator goes up, but I suddenly realize I want to go down, can I sue the owner of the elevator for kidnapping?

| Depends if it's publicly or privately owned. It would probably get thrown out of court anyway realistically.
There's probably a statute for what is considered reasonable and unreasonable inconvenience.

| Pretty sure that's called a frivolous lawsuit. Best case scenario, they give you a safety helmet and put you on the short bus.
