What if what we call religion is actually just a different universe, one that is not carbon-based but still exists. Maybe the reason we haven't come into contact with aliens is that they're not carbon-based and might as well not be in this dimension. The myths of spirits and gods get ground when we can say that what if in the same space as us there exists a different plane containing different lifeforms consisted of different molueculai, ones not of matter. How would we have any idea that they are real enough to tell stories about them if they are in another universe?
But quantum theory bullshit says that yes, there are universes where religion is very very real.

That is at least one theory of religion, yes. The idea that we're actually all imaginary representations of some higher beings subconcious.

>>833010 sorry some people took it that way, but it's interesting food for thought at least imo. Maybe there was a civilization of people who were able to pass down tales of the less carbon based beings hence why we have knowledge of religion, myths, etc. Or they may have had there own way of interacting with the world that we as people could perceive? Still pretty cool to think about.
