Imagine that you’ve were going to college/university. Your professor gives you the following choice: 2x1hr lectures in-person each week, or 2x40min pre-recorded videos each week with a 1hr in-person Q&A/discussion session.

2nd choice. That way I am able to spread my covid symptoms to everyone.

2nd choice, more flexible and if i really have questions i can just go to the q&a

2nd choice since 2x speed is a thing and you can pause when you actually need extra time to write notes.

I prefer the first because I'm antisocial and won't follow up later to ask questions off hours.

Assuming covid don't exist, the first one. Less time taken. Less things to manage. Less chance of forgetting to come to class than checking a video.
I can never pay attention during videos or lectures anyway though.
